AFC Corsham 8 Trowbridge Wanderers 4

With no score for the first 25 minutes this looked as though it was going to be a tight game. Then Will Nunn scored his first goal for Corsham with a superb 30 yard free kick. Unfortuantely the Trowbridge keeper had to go off with an injury and Sammy Davies scored to make it 2-0 at the interval.

The second half was then end to end with plenty of goals. Corsham added to their tally with goals from Harvey Walton, Patrick Cunningham, Ryan Chapman and an own goal before 2 late goals from Alexander Acklam sealed the win

AFC Corsham 3 Derry Hill 1

A first League win of the season for the team and a very well deserved 3 points. Following on from last weeks 8 goal thriller, the team played some great football and went two up through Alexander and James with his first goal for the Club. Corsham were then unable to add to their score though dominating the play.

Sloppy defending from a rare Derry Hill break away led to a goal and set up a tense last 10 minutes, but Harvey calmed the nerves with a well taken finish into the top left hand corner of the net. Credit to the Derry Hill keeper who had an excellent match. Corsham face Warminster Highbury at home next week.
