AFC Corsham invites the whole community to join us for the Peter Ford Memorial Match – a special evening celebrating 50 years of our club and remembering a man who gave so much to our football family.
Now in its 4th year, this popular fixture brings together a mix of past and present players, coaches, and parents – full kits, full-hearted effort, and plenty of laughs (even if not quite full match fitness!).
Who’s Playing?
Two handpicked squads will go head-to-head for the coveted Peter Ford Trophy:
Bristol Rovers (not really)
Managed by Max Bray & San Deane
Vs.
Swindon Town (not really)
Managed by Mark Godley & Matt Bown
Expect passion, banter, and maybe a few tired legs by the final whistle!
What to Expect on the Night
• 7:00pm kick-off under the lights at Corsham Town FC
• Bar open with drinks and refreshments
• The return of former players, club stalwarts, and committee members
• A chance to share in the celebrations of 50 years of AFC Corsham
Entry is free – but we’ll be asking for small donations on the night in aid of the Leafy Lane 3G fundraising project. Every contribution helps us bring this once-in-a-generation facility to the community.
Why You Should Come
This is more than just a football match – it’s a night to bring the AFC Corsham community together.
Whether you’re a lifelong supporter, a new member, or someone looking for a great local evening out – we’d love to see you in the crowd.
Bring the kids, bring your mates, bring your voices. Let’s fill the stands and show what our club is all about.
