Following the success of our recent girls’ taster event, AFC Corsham is delighted to confirm the next date in our girls’ football development journey. We’re inviting girls in Years 1, 2 and 3 to come and experience the joy of football in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

When: Saturday 19th July
Where: Leafy Lane Playing Fields, Corsham
Session Times:
• Years 1 & 2 (current): 10.30am – 11.45am
• Year 3 (current): 12.00pm – 1.00pm

Whether your child is new to football or already loves to play, our taster sessions are designed to be welcoming and fun – with a chance to meet new friends, try new skills, and get a feel for what AFC Corsham has to offer.

We are a FA 2-Star Accredited Club with a growing commitment to girls’ football, and these sessions are an important step as we look to form new U7 and U8 girls’ teams for the 2025/26 season.

All our coaches are FA-qualified, DBS-checked, and First Aid trained – ensuring a supportive and safe environment for every player.

What to Bring:
• A drink
• Sunscreen (hopefully!) or a rain jacket – we’ll play whatever the weather
• Comfy sports clothing (no football boots required)

We kindly ask that parents sign up in advance and stay on site for the duration of the session.

AFC Corsham has big ambitions for the girls’ game. Inspired by the incredible success and visibility of the Lionesses, we’re working hard to make football accessible for more girls at younger ages. We’ve seen fantastic energy, smiles and skill from those who’ve joined us already – and we can’t wait to welcome even more.
