Not a proper match report this week as it was a friendly.
Just wanted to say that I thought the boys did really well today. Some nice build up play and some fantastic foot work especially from but not only from Troy, Cory, Radek and Finlay. Really impressive! In training we've been trying to work on quick finishing and the lads took the sessions over the past couple of weeks into the game and showed that they are learning. We scored a few today but slight improvement in technique is needed but that is to be expected (and if you've seen me shoot I might need Frazer to take charge in the finishing sessions). The boys defended well when needed and the keepers today did really well sweeping up through balls and Troy pulling off a de gea type save in the second half.
Player of the match went to Finlay who was fantastic all game with great pace down the right wing using good skill and movement to get past the panthers left back time after time with most of his efforts producing some lovely crosses and finished the game off with a cracker of a goal.
Well done team really good today and let's take it into the next league game against Dilton Rovers.
