AFC Corsham Jaguars U12 v Chippenham U12

Another solid performance from the team today in difficult conditions. With the pitch being sticky and very muddy and the added difficulty of the wind the team struggled to play our usual (of late) free flowing passing style. The boys tried their best and at times produced some fantastic passing combinations to break through the Chippenham midfield and defence. We changed formation to 3 at the back for today’s game and 4 in midfield to try and control the game and create chances which we did a lot of in the first half but the difficult pitch slowed up our attacks. We still managed to score 6 in the first half with no reply. The second half was more even with lots of changes again because of the score line in our favour. Chippenham managed to score 3 goals which showed we needed to keep our concentration and play our own football. Some great goals in the second half from the boys and some mature play from the midfield and striker. The game finished 10-3 which hopefully the boys can take lots of confidence from for the next
